The Hagia Sofia Museum, built in the 6th C and one of the largest Christian church and now one of the most  famous  museum in the world.
Topkapı  Palace, imperial residence of the Ottoman  Sultans, with the  famous harem, priceless world -class collections of artefacts, jewellry and  porcelain and  costumes.
Süleymaniye  Mosque: The mosque of Süleyman the magnificent was buılt by Sinan, the greatest  architect of  his day  and the  orignator of the classical ottoman style of architecture.
Ä°stanbul  is not just a city  living in the  past though.
It is at the same  time  a fascinating modern city, a  vibrant  and future- oriented metropolis.
